An altered looking start relay, or fuel pump relay, is like a beacon for a car thief. It practically shouts, "hey, look at me!"
Should I install this myself, or have my mechanic do it?
If you're unfamiliar with your vehicle's ignition system, please ask your mechanic to install.
Can this work even if I have a remote starting mechanism?
Yes, you get to decide which portion of the ignition system to interrupt. You may divert power either before or after your remote starter tie-in, it's up to you.
I want a louder horn. Can I hook it up to something else?
Yes, we highly recommend customizing your system to be totally unique. Get creative ;)
I have a low voltage ignition, can this still work?
Indeed. The voltage in is the voltage out, so 7v in, 7v out. That won't power the 12v horn that comes in the kit, so you may want to inquire about our Low Voltage Inducer Relay harness.
